DHL has informed me that they have recently suspended service to Moscow and shipments that are sent to the following Airport Codes: DME, SVO, MOW. DHL has been experiencing difficulties with Customs clearance of dutiable shipments into Moscow. This situation was exacerbated by the recent changes in the application of Customs procedures in Russia.
Unfortunately, there is no time frame of when of when they will be able to service the Moscow area but I am currently looking into an alternative of perhaps sending shipments via the U.S. Postal Service but I do not have a estimated date of when we will provide an alternative solution.
I’ll keep you guys updated.
P/S : Yeah.. i know.. Russian system sucks and their policies are a pain in the arse. I hate this place.
